Who Can Join the CFPA?
We invite anyone to join our association whether you are a practising professional, retiree, student or even overseas applicant.
We welcome members from the accounting, banking, legal, trust, investment, insurance, real estate, tax planning, education,
coaching, journalism and other professions. The basic requirement is that you must have a genuine desire to learn about the
art and science of professional financial planning, to help empower families and businesses financially and to advance the
mission of the CFPA.

If you apply early you can be counted as one of our Founder Members - a distinction only available to those who act in time.
Founder Members receive a special founder's certificate and permanent entry into the CFPA Founder Register.
